Markus Molthan grew up near Einbeck, Germany, on a part-time farm. Before completing his university studies, Molthan completed an apprenticeship in breeding at KWS to become an agricultural technical assistant. After earning a master’s degree in crop sciences at the University of Göttingen, he became a product manager for wheat and barley at KWS Cereals in 2010. He later became the manager of AgroService Sugarbeet for Germany and Austria. Molthan has overseen international product management for catch crops at KWS since 2019.
